The new LA Cats Class of '09

2009 started with a rousing cheer as the above photo from last weekend’s Beat Sheet Workshop attests. These workshops are becoming so popular — and a place where actual magic occurs right in front of our eyes — mostly because of the spirit of the people who attend and their desire to not only get better at this job, but to help others do the same! The revitalized LA Cats! Writing Group that meets every other Sunday continues work started in class, and represents our philosophy: learn the tools, speak the language, then start applying it immediately in your work. We learn by doing it ourselves, we writers, but it’s always nice to get a boost from others like ourselves who have the same positive attitude about writing… and life!
